Race Headquarters

You can use the below address for GPS navigators as a general address although the race start is off of Life Flight Lane just adjacent to the Life Flight hangar behind the hospital.

Directions to race start are as follows:
From interstate 80
Take exit 224 Danville
Take 54 E 2.5 miles toward Danville
Turn left at route 11/Bloom St. (traffic light)
Go to the second traffic light (2 blocks) and take a slight left onto Bloom St
Follow Bloom St. to Academy Avenue (next traffic light) and make a left
Follow Academy Avenue through the Geisinger Campus to Red Lane
Turn right onto Red Lane and go approximately 500ft and make a left onto Powder Mill Road
Race headquarters is located in the parking lot to the left.

Camping

Camping is available nearby (~1 mile) from the race. It is free, but donations are accepted and encouraged. Showers are available.

Hess Field
There are no designated campsites. This is a recreational area with ball fields that is also used to accommodate campers for events such as this. Please feel free to gently drive around the fields to set up camp along the woods. Trails will lead you to a stream on the tree side of the ball fields. There are showers and toilets available. There is one charcoal grill under the pavillion.

Directions:
From interstate 80
Take exit 224 Danville
Take 54 E for approximately 2 miles toward Danville
Turn right onto Montour Street (just after Perkins restaurant)
Take immediate right onto Meadow Lane
Stay on Meadow Lane through a townhouse community which will require you to make a soft left and then turn right.
When you come to what seems to be a dead end turn left into an open gate and follow this to Hess Field.

The closest hotel to the race start is the Pine Barn Inn, Danville, PA which is located within the Geisinger campus and can be found at pinebarninn.com. There are other hotels just off of interstate 80 and there are a few bed and breakfasts in the town of Danville.
