About us

Pacific Northwest Wilderness Medicine held the first Northwest MedWAR in 2019. It was scheduled to return in 2020, but then was put on hold given the pandemic like many live events. We returned in 2023 with a spring and fall race and have continued annually.

Our organization caters mostly to medical students but love the interactions with the wilderness medical community we get to build during this event. We hope it offers many educational and fun training opportunities for everyone!
